Dear Visitors,

Nestled amid some of California’s most unusual buttes, this small rural community, with a population of 14,000, is located in the northeastern part of Los Angeles County. We take pride, in that we have plenty of elbow room and unobstructed night views of all the stars.

Perhaps you have visited us without being aware of it! Lake Los Angeles regularly appears in movies, television and advertisements, through the efforts of the Antelope Valley film industry. Film production plays a large part in our community with two main locations: Club Ed’s and the Four Aces.

We provide many opportunities for social and service needs. People of all ages are served through our many clubs and organizations. Parents have a large array to choose from for their children’s fun and sporting activities.

The Lake Los Angeles Rural town Council is the voice that provides representation to L.A. County in its governmental structure.

Church life plays an important role to many individuals and families in our community.

The families in Lake Los Angeles have strong values and enjoy participating in community events. Many of the events are sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce such as the Lake L.A. Day Parade & Festival, the Lake L.A. Annual ChristmasTree Lighting Ceremony. Many residents also volunteer in preparing and distributing Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to the needy.

In order to preserve the Lake Los Angeles community spirit, the Chamber of Commerce provides a “forum” for the local businesses. Throughout the year, the Chamber hosts “Mixers” and other opportunities for networking amongst its’ members.
